UNION, Mo. (KMOX) – Two people are in custody after a high-speed chase, Thursday night, led police from Union to Pacific to Eureka.

Franklin County Sheriff Gary Toelke says a 34-year-old Washington, Mo. woman and a 29-year-old man from Festus face charges of resisting arrest, possession of stolen property, and numerous drug-related offenses.

Inside the car, deputies found items taken during a Gasconade County burglary, a home stereo reported stolen from the Fredericktown Wal-Mart, and variety of illegal drugs.

Sheriff Toelke says both suspects were on probation at the time of their arrests.
