FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO. (KMOX) - A man, police have been looking for since Tuesday after he held a gun to a woman’s head in Franklin County, has been arrested.
Michael Murphy was spotted by Jefferson County deputies Friday. They responded to a call for a man who was disoriented. When they approached him, they realized it was the suspect Franklin County had been looking for.
Murphy is accused of breaking into a woman’s home on Virginia Mines Road, pointing a handgun at her head demanding money. Murphy is said to have pulled the trigger twice but the weapon did not fire.
