UNION, Mo. (KMOX) – Three teenagers were killed and two more were seriously hurt in a crash near Union, Missouri Thursday morning.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says all five teens were in the car when it went off the road and struck a tree.
19-year-old James Curran was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix. He was killed, along with 18-year-old Cole Weddle and 19-year-old Derek King.
It happened shortly after 2 a.m.
None of the passengers were wearing seat belts, according to a press release. Authorities are unsure if the driver was.
